We have had all kinds of sick rolling through our home for 2 weeks now. I thought we had it beat but this guy started running a fever last night. Keeping my fingers crossed that it will be short lived for him.

Day 58: The Beards are Back
Tonight is the night. I've been waiting, for what feels like, forEVAH. They are back, and I will be watching the redneck awesomeness as soon as the kids are in bed. I felt it was only fitting for today's photo to include our very own bearded mountain man. He's sick and wasn't too thrilled I was snapping at him. He's hanging with our eldest. Day 57: Silver Linings
We took advantage of a Groupon that was about ready to expire tonight. We went and saw Silver Linings. I loved it and he loved it. We may have enjoyed it more than most since we were escaping the sick that's been plaguing us for 2 weeks.

Day 56: The Road to Recovery
This poor guy has been sick for 6 days. We figured out Saturday that it was strep throat. We were hoping for a speedy recovery once the medicine kicked in. Unfortunately that doesn't seem to be the case :( I snapped this picture of him napping on my lap this afternoon. This is the ONE and ONLY nice thing about the sickies. Extra snuggles <3 p="">

This was our Sunday morning. We cleaned. Then played. Now 2 little dudes are sleeping while the other's are out playing ball. The house is quiet except for a big fur ball yawning in my ear. Time for some Easter Heaven :)

Day 53: Bright Spot

Day 49: Busted
I have a small obsession with this game. Mainly because I play with my far away brother. It makes me feel like I'm spending real time with him, and my far away nephews. My favorite part is when the boys let me know I'm going to be " Crying for my momma for 10 days " when I lose. Or my favorite one " You are so BUSTED". Those nephews of mine are pretty cool.

It was an emotional afternoon for me today. I said goodbye to an old friend and caught up with some I haven't seen in a long time. I came home to my loves all in their swimming suits. I needed a little summer today and in one way or another I got it.

Day 47: Prim
Meet Prim Dog. Her name is supposed to be Primrose but Dad affectionately refers to her as Primdog. She's a sweetie pie but a stinker, and is in dire need of a groom. This is her waiting for the big kids to get off the bus. I think this is her favorite part of the day.

Day 44: Video Monitor
I'm not sure how I made it through 3 kids without one of these. It's pretty amazing. I don't use it so much at night anymore, but mostly to spy on the kids when they are playing. These 2 were really cute this afternoon. They played for quite a while, in the crib that doesn't get used anymore :/ There was a lot of car driving, block throwing, ear pinching and jumpy jumpin going on.

Day 43: Slow Motion Football
The evening started with a game of football in his bedroom. This isn't something they are supposed to be doing. When caught they decided it would be a good idea to play some "slow motion football". Hoping, of course, that they wouldn't get caught. One LOUD crash, and a terrible scream later..... they got caught. I'm not entirely sure how he did it but he hurt his knee pretty good. Something about running into a wall. At least he's all better now.

Day 34: Slowing it down
After all the fun yesterday, I am so happy to just take it easy today! M, and I, read every book in our arsenal this morning, and in a few hours we will witness football victory. Hopefully it won't be the Raven's wearing that big shiny ring!

60: Shoe Success!
Little Ms informed me this AM that she needed new flats. Hers had holes in them. So after school we went shopping. I love that she knows what she wants, is quick to make her decisions, and then is happy with what she picked. I have another one that is the exact opposite. She hasn't taken these off...except to sleep...since we bought them. I'd say that is pretty successful shoe shopping!
