Happy Easter! It was really hard to pick a photo for today. The hunt was the highlight so that's what I went with. They were running so fast. I had a hard time keeping up! I think this was our best Easter yet :)

88: Eggs
Easter is among us. We colored eggs tonight...With Koolaid. It worked a lot better than the Paws tabs. K and M had a good time mixing colors and L decided he didn't want to be involved until we were all done.

87: Real
She got her first "real" haircut today. We've done a trim here and there at home. She hadn't shown any interest in short hair until a couple of weeks ago. She's been bugging me since to get a hair cut. I was nervous because we gave her bangs once and she still hasn't recovered fully from that experience. We were near a salon for kids this morning so we went ahead and made the jump. She loves her new hair and she also got her nails painted as part of the deal. She's one happy girl today :)
86: A Great Investment
This tether ball is the single most awesome thing we've ever bought for the kids. They want to play all the time. Rain or shine.

85: Awareness
Today is Epilepsy Awareness day. I have a friend who's daughter suffers some severe seizures due to epilepsy. Surprisingly we don't have any purple to wear. So we busted out the markers to show some support!

84: Monday
I love this photo. Photographers would probably say there is all kinds of wrong with it but I don't care :)

83: Corral
Prim dog has been doing a great job of "pruning" our plants. As well as our shoes, rugs, dirt clods, or anything else she can get her mouth on outside. So she is getting her own personal yard.
82: Tether
Found this baby at Costco. Much better....and easier... than putting one in the ground. It's gotten lots of play already, and I'm sure it will continue to.

81: Big Kids
Big kids are awesome. Especially for keeping little kids entertained! We got to hang out with 3 of our favorite, little and not so little anymore, people today. The big girl was a great sport. Trying to do all the things the little ones wanted to do. I need to get me one of these big kids a little more often!

79: Look Into My Eyes
This guy was hamming it up tonight. It was pajama time and he was pulling out all of his best tricks to avoid having to strip down. Including posing for the camera. This was the best shot I got. I'm still trying to figure out this new lens of mine.

78: Proud
I am one proud Momma today. This guy came home at an H reading level, and with his first referral. He's worked so hard to get to this H reading level. Which is where he needed to be by the end of 1st Grade. His goal now is to get into a J by the end of the school year. Totally attainable. I am also quite proud of the referral. This guy is a lover .... not a fighter. He normally will just take what you dish out to him. Today he finally stood up for himself, and because of that, I can't help but feel a little overjoyed looking at that little pink slip. Hopefully, he will now realize that these 2 "friends" aren't actually good friends at all.

77: How Does Your Garden Grow
We are taking advantage of every single ounce of sun that we get these days. Today the old man fenced in an area for our little blueberry patch. He did a great job and even managed to get the front of the new fence stained. The back will have to wait for the next nice day.

76: The Ants Go Marching
Technically, I didn't take this picture, but it was taken on my camera. We ventured up the hill to a friends house today. For a little camera help, and play time. I can't imagine the love fading between these guys any time soon.

75: Saturday
The kids and I were lazy today. We stayed in our jammies, watched movies, and read books. While Dad worked hard outside in the rain.

74: Growing Up
Every now and then I get a reminder that this guy really is growing up. This morning was one of those times. For the most part he still acts like our goofy little 5 year old. More, and more though, I see him behaving less like that 5 year old and more like a, too grown up, 10 year old. Right now he's caught somewhere in the middle and I'll enjoy any ounce of that little 5 year old he will give me. As well as enjoy the big boy he's growing up to be. I just hope he doesn't make the jump too fast.

73: Bunhead
It's Ballet day. It's been 7 months and I still haven't mastered the bun. We are getting there though. Hopefully we will have it all figured out by the time her recital is here.

72: A New Dog
We sent one dog in to be groomed and got a completely different one back! Oh my goodness. Her hair had gotten out of control so we had to start over. From scratch. The kids got a big laugh when she came home. She's still our sweet girl just a little goofy looking.

71: Spring
It was overcast for the most part today. I did get a couple cloud breaks and took a shot of one of our trees starting to bud. I can't wait for Spring!

70: First T-ball Practice
These two had their first T-ball practice of 2013 last night. It was his first ever. They both jumped in the car afterwards and exclaimed " That was so much fun!" We are happy to be back in the land of organized sports!

69: All Boy
You can pretty much count on this guy having his hands in his pants. When he's playing, reading a book, snuggling, and even sleeping. It's a boy thing I guess.

68: Matoma
We went to Matoma today to visit my sister and nephews. Once again it was an awesome day. Sunshiny but cool. We saw their new home, went to the park, and visited a little Seinfeld inspired restaurant. The sandwich I had was amazing and I can't stop thinking about it. I am not sure exactly what they are looking at in this picture but I think it's ducks across the pond. My girl thought they looked like sharks from so far away. Oh and Matoma isn't really the name of the town. It's how my oldest says it.

67: Catch My Breath
This isn't the greatest photo but I loved what was happening at the time. It was a beautiful day and they were able to enjoy their outside time. She was standing on the quad serenading her little brother. She was singing "Catch my Breath". It's her favorite right now :)

66: Wanna be a Baller
He got his very own bat today just in time for his first T-ball season. He is more than excited to play ball. I love that he asks Dad to hit/throw balls all the time.

65: Muscle Man
"Muscle Man, Muscle Man. Usually so obscene, but now you're following your dreams. Just don't become a drama queen." I get this little jingle stuck in my head every time he shows me his muscles.

64: 4 1/2
This little guy celebrated his half Birthday at preschool today! When I asked him, what he wanted to bring in for a treat, he said "Bat Cupcakes". So we brainstormed....with a little help from pinterest.... and figured out what we could use to make cupcakes into bats. I baked, and cut the oreo's in half. He and his sister assembled the bats. They had a lot of fun and he was more than proud of the final project.

63: They Melt In Your Mouth...Not on the floor
Somebody found the left over bag of M&Ms. In the midst of trying to escape dad's grasp the bag dumped. He was no happy. I forget that he's getting bigger and can reach things on the counter now.

62: Quack Quack
It isn't raining today. It's cold but there is NO rain falling from the sky. So we took advantage. The big guys wanted to stay home and we went to the duck pond and fed the little guys. Well almost all of us fed them. There was one boy who just wanted to eat duck snacks. Little guy had a lot of fun. He threw crackers in the pond, chased ducks, and yelled at the dog barking across the street.

61: Tooth Wars
My kids are unusually afraid of their teeth falling out. Having a loose tooth is the bees knees but actually having to pop it out is terrifying! His 2 front teeth have been loose for a looong time. We finally got one out this afternoon. The leftover is hanging there. Right smack in the middle. Twisting and flapping in the wind. Gross.

60: Shoe Success
Little Ms informed me she needed new flats. Hers had holes in them. So after school we went shoe shopping. It took a whopping 10 minutes. Most of that time was spent making her try a few more pairs on just in case something fit or felt better. She had these picked out right when we walked into the isle. I love that she knows what she wants, makes quick decisions, and is happy with her choices. I have another child that is the exact opposite. Except for sleeping, she hasn't taken these off since we bought them. I'd say that is shoe shopping success!
