He got his birthday present a few days early. Just his size so he can roll with the big kids.

147: Big

His newest "thing" is sitting on the stairs. He thinks this is just the coolest thing and will usually take a ball or trucks to play with while he sits. Up until now they have been off limits unless we are right there with him. Now that he's gotten pretty good at climbing them he's getting a little more room to run. I'm not ready to let him go all the way up and play up there without me but we're getting there!

Ol Mr. Sunshine is trying his dandiest to get through that solid block of darkness!

It wouldn't be a holiday weekend in our house if someone didn't turn up sick!

144: Content

I actually took this last night. It was too cute not to put on here though. We were getting the big kids ready for an Open House at school. He gave Molly some love while he waited. 

143: Smooth

He likes to drink my smoothies. Only problem is most of it ends up ON him instead of IN him.

142: Surprise

She got a surprise when she went to bed! Her old Dora blanket was replaced, with a new and improved, Monster High one. She was a little more than excited to see it hanging out on her bed.

141: Wet

And there doesn't seem to be an end in site.

140: Freckles

Not a great pic, but trying to get one that isn't blurry with this child, is almost impossible. The poor girl has my skin. Pale. Freckly. Oh and did I mention Pale? Every time she steps into the sun new freckles appear. Today we spent the morning and most of the afternoon at the park with some friends. Now she has new nose freckles. I love them. 

139: Zoo

We went to the Zoo today. It was little dudes first time. He loved it, and was really impressed with the bears, and the elephants. We got to see baby Lily right before she disappeared into her little hidey hole. She was oh so cute!

138: Slumber Party

This is one of their favorite things to do. Sleep down stairs in the living room. We had no disputes when I said it was time to lay down, and start relaxing for bed.

137: Patience

He did it. All by himself. He saved every last penny, and worked to earn some. He bought his very own iPod Touch. Which he has affectionately named "K's Glass iPod" We are pretty proud of him. That's not easy to do for a 7 year old!

136: Homework

Homework was pretty funny today. He had to pick the right word to finish the sentence. Here's what he was working with..

1. Beaver was eating some_______. 

His choices were : Pea, Pie, and Pay.

I'm sure we can all figure out why he was laughing so hard ;)

When you ask an almost 2 year old to smile.

134: Personal Space

Today we split the boy's one giant room in half. Now they both have their own personal space. I'm hoping this will end, the battle of the bedroom cleaning. 

133: Ol Charlotte...and Her Stinky Web

It could be the change from Sun to rain, or that it's Monday? I don't know but I am so over this "Family reading project". As first grader's and kindergartners, these kids get quite a bit of homework. Add that in with getting off the bus right before dinner time, baseball, and bedtimes. There isn't much time left in the day. When this book was sent home as a reading project I thought no big deal. Well today it's a big deal.

132: Mother's day

It's Mother's day. And a good one at that! M planted a flower in a pot for me at school, and K made me a jewelry holder in class. It's a cat in case you can't tell. Two legs fell off in transit but I have them put aside so we can glue them back on :)

131: Man Stuff

Today was HOT. A little too hot for ball games at 3:00 PM. Little dude wanted to go outside real bad when we got home, but Mom was cooking dinner and the big kids were inside getting cleaned up. So Dad took him out for a tractor ride. He wanted down.

130: Kindy Career Day

This week the kindergartners discussed careers. We were gone for most of the week so I'm not sure she completely understood what was going on. Today they were asked to wear something, that went along with what they wanted to be when they grew up. Her two choices were a Princess at Disneyland, or an Artist. The princess won. I think that would be a pretty fun job to have! 

129: Loads of Fun

The big kids went back to school today. That left these two, and myself, to do laundry and unpack. I did most of the laundry, and these two spent most of the time in the laundry basket!

128: Home

Oh man we've missed this guy! We are all happy to be home, and I'm already mentally planning our next trip!

127: Cast

Today we met a lot of our favorite Characters! M had been waiting to see Tink. The first time through Pixie Hollow she wasn't there. The second time she was!

126: Zippity Doo Da

What a great way to wake up in the morning. A quick message from Mickey followed by the park blasting Zippity Doo Da. I promise everyone was having fun when we took this picture. The boys are already over posing for pictures :)

125: Disneyland!

We surprised the kids with our first trip to Disneyland today! We got there around noon and shut the park down. We rode a lot of rides, met a lot of our favorite characters, and got to stay up WAY past our bedtime! 

124: A Goal Met

What a fun game for these boys today. Especially for K. He got another good hit, and he got to pitch a few balls in the last inning. He has been practicing at home and was so excited to be able to throw a few. He did really well! He just needs to get a little more muscle on those arms ;) After the game he says to me " I threw some really good ones....annnnd some really crazy ones!".  He was proud of himself as were we. Being able to get out there, and do something he's been working on, definitely made his day.

123: Awesome

What an awesome day. Weather was awesome. Company was awesome. Playing in the water was awesome. The only unawesome thing is that it's Uncle Kam's last day with us. He leaves us to go to our Dad's tomorrow. We will sure miss him around here.

We have company for a few days. He came in the form of Uncle Kam. We are all excited to have him here or a few days!
