66: Wanna be a Baller

He got his very own bat today just in time for his first T-ball season. He is more than excited to play ball. I love that he asks Dad to hit/throw balls all the time.

65: Muscle Man

"Muscle Man, Muscle Man. Usually so obscene, but now you're following your dreams. Just don't become a drama queen." I get this little jingle stuck in my head every time he shows me his muscles.

64: 4 1/2

This little guy celebrated his half Birthday at preschool today! When I asked him, what he wanted to bring in for a treat, he said "Bat Cupcakes". So we brainstormed....with a little help from pinterest.... and figured out what we could use to make cupcakes into bats. I baked, and cut the oreo's in half. He and his sister assembled the bats. They had a lot of fun and he was more than proud of the final project.

63: They Melt In Your Mouth...Not on the floor

Somebody found the left over bag of M&Ms. In the midst of trying to escape dad's grasp the bag dumped. He was no happy.  I forget that he's getting bigger and can reach things on the counter now.

62: Quack Quack

It isn't raining today. It's cold but there is NO rain falling from the sky. So we took advantage. The big guys wanted to stay home and we went to the duck pond and fed the little guys. Well almost all of us fed them. There was one boy who just wanted to eat duck snacks. Little guy had a lot of fun. He threw crackers in the pond, chased ducks, and yelled at the dog barking across the street.

61: Tooth Wars

My kids are unusually afraid of their teeth falling out. Having a loose tooth is the bees knees but actually having to pop it out is terrifying! His 2 front teeth have been loose for a looong time. We finally got one out this afternoon. The leftover is hanging there. Right smack in the middle. Twisting and flapping in the wind. Gross.

60: Shoe Success

Little Ms informed me she needed new flats. Hers had holes in them. So after school we went shoe shopping. It took a whopping 10 minutes. Most of that time was spent making her try a few more pairs on just in case something fit or felt better. She had these picked out right when we walked into the isle. I love that she knows what she wants, makes quick decisions, and is happy with her choices. I have another child that is the exact opposite. Except for sleeping, she hasn't taken these off since we bought them. I'd say that is shoe shopping success!
